News

Happy New Year to all of our readers!  We're starting the new year off in style with newly upholstered chairs in the control room (shiny white vinyl!) and the new-ish floor in there too.  Jeffrey's mixing room is getting an overhaul (he now has tall chairs and can stand at his desk), Dan's writing room will be rearranged soon too. Then next up, painting the live room at long last.

Never fear, we still have plenty of recording through all of this.  Read on for upcoming sales and find out about all the solo artists who've been in lately.

Who's Been in the Recording Studio

Greg Boerner is making a lot of progress on his newest album with us.  The final song list is getting close to complete and then the fine tuning begins.  For those who aren't already familiar Greg plays a foot stomping, blues hearkening, finger picking, hand slapping guitar with soulful vocals.  You can find out more at www.gregboerner.com

Dee Wilson is working on his EP due out in August.  He put final touches on his first song and is planning more to come.  Dee blends acoustic, folk and soul and wraps it into a nice little bow.  Hear more from him at www.reverbnation.com/deewilson

Crystal Schultz finished up a couple of her songs in the studio recently.  They are pure pop perfection.  We're looking forward to working on more songs with her in the future too.  In the meantime hear her song Twisted Something at www.myspace.com/mscrystalized

Recording Tip of the Month

Know what your plans are for your music after you record it.  A full album to get played on the radio, an EP, just a demo for gigs?  It may change what you think is a good take or determine how much time you want to spend recording.
