Happy Records and Information Management Month! -

NEWS

Ah...spring is here at last. And what better time than spring to find the importance of music and how it changes our lives, letting us look deeper into our souls... (insert record scratch here)...really, it's the time to rock out and jump and scream in ecstasy for no reason whatsoever, which is what we're doing around here (okay, maybe not literally, but it sounds kinda good, doesn't it).

We've been keeping busy around here as always and we'll be even busier this coming month as we work on scoring a documentary for Laura Zinger of Brown Finch Films. We'll also be working in the studio with a collaborator of ours, Troy Sterling Nies, from North Dakota, as well as keeping up with our normal recording of bands and artists. So it will be busy around here, please be patient with us for scheduling.

By the way, I've started an Apocalypse Cow group on Facebook. I've just gotten it started and haven't really done anything with the group yet, so please bear with me as I figure out what I should put in it. Feel free join and invite your friends and add anything you would like, pictures, comments, etc. I'm hoping to make it a place where artists we know can network with each other to get shows. But I'm down for making the group anything you want it to be. I know the internet is amassed with places to kill time, but maybe swing on by just to say hi real quick.

And finally, be sure to check out our latest podcast featuring artists who have recorded at The Cow. This month features Ink Lasts Longer, Starway, T-naz de la Sierra, Johnny Badlaw, Gary Landess and Roughly Enforcing Nostalgia.

WHO’S in the RECORDING STUDIO

Punk rock band Ink Lasts Longer (formerly called Murfey's Law) was back in the studio last month recording another group of songs to complete their album they've recorded here over the past year or so. Throughout the various recording sessions the band has gotten more creative with their songs and continues to pull from an ever widening pallette of influences. You can hear Ink Lasts Longer's new songs on our brand new podcast. You can also find out more about the band at www.myspace.com/inklastslonger.

Christian rock band Starway is putting the final touches on their mixes and gearing up to record a couple more songs this coming month. You can also hear Starway in this month's podcast and you can v isit www.myspace.com/starwayrockband for more info.

Duranguense band T-Naz de la Sierra has finished the songs for their newest album and will pressing them soon. They have already started recording more songs here for their next album which will be a greatest hits album with a few new songs too. Find out more at www.myspace.com/tnazdelasierra
